TO THE EAST LONDON EXPLORERS CLUB

"An Saturday 6th December Chris Riley did a session about space with East London Explorers.  I found it very good and fascinating.  For example, did you know that space is 50 miles up?  Or that you can see the edge of the Earth while you are still in the Earth's atmosphere?  Or that Pluto was named by an Oxfordshire schoolgirl?  There were also a lot of questions from a lot of curious explorers!  I think everyone enjoyed the session and learnt a lot.  There were obviously some people who knew lots about space already, but I think even they learnt something new.  I really enjoyed it, and am looking forward to the next one."
