"It was such a lovely morning and I'm so grateful to you
for coming in. The question on this week's democracy board was "What was the
happiest day of your life so far?" and Saina (little Iranian girl who came
up to you after the talk) said "The day Chris did the space talk".

"Very many thanks Chris for giving us your super presentation on Saturday.
You were a huge hit with Explorers and parents alike. The fact that people
crowded in to what was to have been your first session shows they couldn't
wait even another hour and they were certainly not disappointed. I've had people
telling me how we must try and get you back from then until now!"

"I really enjoyed it.  I was surprised to see how the space rockets shook when they took off."

"It was good being able to talk to someone who had really been weightless"

"Thank you very much for two stimulating and superb sessions today.  I lost count of the number of children - and their parents - who approached me afterwards to sing your praises.  Normally the session starts to break up from 12.30 onwards with families drifting off and children who stay getting a little restless.  Toady was the opposite, I had to step in or they would have kept you there all day.  So thank you for all you did.  I can see us being asked for more sessions about astronomy and the stars."

I would like to thank you on behalf of the children and parents who came along to Explorers Club on Sunday 1st April, for taking the time and trouble to make the afternoon so successful.  According to our feedback forms which we give out at the end of the afternoon, your activity was extremely popular.  It received all ones, meaning very enjoyable/super, and one of the members wrote 'add these together' with lots of plus signs!  Comments included "we enjoyed this very much" and " I would like to come and do this every week!"

Thank you very much for coming to speak to us last night - you were a knock out! Everyone was dead impressed.  The material was brilliant, the footage about creating the sun and the mad man who jumped out of his gondola was wonderful.  Great stuff for a talk.  It was really good of you and brilliant for the kids to get an opportunity to talk to someone at the cutting edge.  The kids were really enthusiastic about you too - so be warned - you may be invited back next year!
